One has to appreciate obedience once you've shared a house with a basset but I do get my own back at times. Right now Fred is sitting outside begging to come in and I'm going..... *ignore mode*.... :twisted:

Gess is a naughty girl She pinched two braai choppies off the kitchen counter so she too is outside in disgrace .. I am also in "ignore mode"

Desi is Ridgeback/Basset.

Calico, Bella and Desi under the bird feeder. The bird feeder is Bella's favourite resting place. :roll:

The ridgeback side is forever saying, "lets get the hell out of here and go running.. the basset side thinks, "but just turn your back a minute, I need to check the cat's bowl".

The chewed up legs of the birdfeeder are all Desi's work.

It doesn't look like Bellatjie is concerned about the attention from Calico and Desi Meandering Mouse! How sweet! :clap:

Desi only wanted to get Bella out of there, that's why he chewed up the legs of the bird feeder! :lol:

Meandering Mouse, bird feeders are for Nala(dogue de boudeaux) a place to feed on birds ! So be happy with the bird feeder being chewed on not the birds.

Threedogs, you might have to change your name to fourdogs.

On Friday, we visited friends who have a 3 month old boxer pup, which barked like mad at me when I arrived. It usually does not take me long to make friends with big (end result) dogs, but little runts I can do without, so I grabbed it and picked it up. Soon I was being licked and 'kissed'.

When I got home, our affectionate 16 month old Rottie took one sniff at me and promptly went to bed.....

Next morning at food time, all was forgiven.

Sheesh, I thought it was only human females that were...........

MM, the eyes of a cat are a window on the universe beyond the stars. Which is why we mere mortals cannot shift our eyes when a cat's locks onto them; it is as if two lasers have entrapped us. Magnificent pics there! :clap:

BB, you started the sentence, so best to finish it? Love the landmark change the pup brought upon you ... no more runts to be ignored in future, I'm sure! :lol:

The terrible (blue) two, Zina and Dudley. :evil:

They got hold of SO's (blue!!) chalk line refill. Need I say more? :slap:

These pics were taken after they said hello to me and all the other dogs. No pics of me tho but I was pretty blue too... and the garden... and the stoep... and then they burst inside as the door opened so blue floors too.
