It was an amazing sighting and I don't think I'll ever have a better sighting of an Aardwolf.

Each park has a speciality. Looks like aardwolf is the one for MZ judging by your fantastic pics Madach.

we saw a few on our April trip as well...long grass didn't help and the creatures never paused long enough for a photo or looked in my direction :shock: :(

Hi Madach

We were in MZNP - a few weeks ago, our first ever stay. High on my "wish list" - was Aardwolf. Unfortunately, we weren't able to find one on our own - in the day. However, we booked a Sunset Drive, and our ranger - found us one, woo hoo!!! The integral flash - on my camera, wasn't good enough to capture the sighting (I have since invested in an external flash), but the sighting alone was awesome.

By the way - loved your pictures.

A great park - we were bowled over by the scenery.
