Could anyone please confirm what they paid for the trail - the webpage says it costs R2180 but I got charged R2340 ?? Has it gone up - I know all the accomodation has

Is the difference not the increase or tariffs that will take place in Sept ? The amount looks like it may be.
Even if I can't go I will enjoy following all the bulid up

I have just spoken to the reception and I was informed that the system we use have calculated the annual price increase in the bookings.

Now what is the price? Getaway say in April 2011 issue that it is R1999.00 so increase should be R2180. Where does R2340.00 come from

April Getaway looks to me that they quoted old tariffs, you can't squabble with SANParks for that.

I think many folk don't take into account that increases take place on 1 Oct. When they make bookings taken off the availability screens you only see the current rate. However when you are emailed your provisional reservation, if it is for dates after 1 Oct it will reflect the new rate.

Current tariff till Sept 2010 is R 2180 as per SANParks web. Once again, assuming increase of about 7.6% brings you to the R 2340
