The s63 looks beautiful, saw lots of nyala, impala, a herd of ellies, water monitor and other facinating stuff LOTS of birds, grass is very short and green, I heard there was a great storm last night, river is full and looks lovely.

I was there 4 weeks ago and its great at the moment. 2 x separate Thickbilled Cuckoos in the Fever Tree Forest and on 1 occasion with their only known host a small flock of Retz Helmut Shrikes.
I was working out of Pafuri camp Wilderness Safaris. S
Saw leopard 100 metres from the lookout on the main bridge over the river and near Pafuri Gate a pair of Bushpig were in the road early in the morning.
No Pels Owls this time but great lion roars at night

My favourite area!

My family and I and other animals have had good sightings over the last few years: Lion, leopard, Crowned Eagle, BBJ, Croc kill, Serval and Eland!

But it is just the general magic!











Phugwane, have you got pics of those bushpig? Or would you put up that sighting under "mammals"?
