Excellent. One last think is size.
A good, more or less standard size is 50x70 cm but better you check on this. Size bigger if 70x100 cm.
Also an indication of the quantity of posters needed.

Scip's, you see the problem with most signs if that they are in English. Basic signs have an immediate effect and no language needed. Look at the road signs, no words at all but are recognised worldwide.

Will check these with 'my manager' next week when she is back in the office. But we can work on the idea until then.

Being the loo, restaurant,pool etc must be good option.

You are right Rumuruti...alot of the signs are already "language neutral" or have small graphics on them that anyone can easily understand...eg, look at the pic of Nyawutsi hide...

Elsa, you are so right! It is not the ideas that are missing, it is the execution that does not happen. Maybe the time is ripe, with the VHR and Rumuruti, between them they should be able to make things work

The loo is the perfect spot. People spend a lot of time there without having anything else to do than read.

RUMURUTI, I agree on the basic signs(Pictures for those stupid ones breaking the rules) but English is seen worldwide as the international Language, so I disagree on that account. But then, I am not gonna digress from the original post & thread Idea.

@Michel367....the inside of loo doors sounds like a great idea....

One poster on the inside of every loo door in Kruger....public loos and chalets/rondavels!!! Sounds like a good ambition level to have...!!!

Reception it has to be. It is the first place all visitors have to pass by and on top of that the staff can actually indicate visitors to read the signs.
Can place smaller ones in the loo, or any other place like restaurants etc.

Not only there, but also on the walls at the urinoirs. As time spend there is somewhat limited it should only contain pictorials.
Dumasses, kids and the ignorant can read it too then.

I agree it has to be more than reception - not everyone goes into reception, often only one or two people in the party. But all go to ablutions at some point, and most go to shops etc. Even near the sightings board which almost everyone looks at!

Rumuruti, you are of course right and that is the first place posters should be. But as always there is the danger of "information overload" at the reception point....that´s why I like the idea of posters in loo areas as well as back up....that´s where most people have just a little time to ....

I agree EJ. Everybody staying over needs to eat & wee-wee. Those places must must be targeted.

For those just using a camp for a quick pitstop, will either refuel or go look at the sightings board.
