hmmm .. last time I saw a yr .. the guy drove straight over a chameleon ... I really felt bad for him, coz he tried very hard to miss it and nearly rolled the car ... even drove back to see if he wasn't lucky maybe ..

Did not think it would be a good time to greet and discuss forum :lol: :lol:

We were in the Kgalagadi during Christmas 2010, proudly flying our YR :thumbs_up: We were flagged down at Kamqua by three ladies. They said they have been seeing us for the past 3 days and the curiosity just got the better of them and they had to ask about the YR: Was the Landy my SO's christmas present?? :tongue: They couldn't imagine any other explanation..

On a recent visit to Kgalagadi, and proudly flying my yellow and red ribbons, met Paintbrush with his yellow ribbon displayed and having a fellow ' mite' coming to me - Poekie - and I could help out with extra rbbons for her car, yellow and red.

Great to meet fellow 'mites'. :dance: :D

Just back from the Kruger after 14 days, saw one yellow ribbon as we were turning into Tamboti, it was Cape of Storms and my neighbour in Tamboti was Tieroog but she did not have a yellow ribbon but when she saw our 3 ribbons she came and spoke to us

Maybe the logo will help mites to wear them proud on their cars.(A yellow mirror sock with the forum logo on it) :hmz:

We spent 12 nights in KTP end June/early July, with yellow and red ribbons flying. We did not see one Yellow Ribbon. From other forum posts, I know there were other Forumites there. It is always nice to stop and chat to other Forumites and put a face to an alias!

Maybe the yellow mirror socks will become popular and more people will display them.

We leave on Sunday 12th August, Lydenburg Monday, Olifants Tuesday etc etc.. Am working hard until we go and realised we are without ribbon. Where should we buy some en route to Phalaborwa gate?!

Go into any shop which sells material - you sure to find they stock yellow ribbon as well.
