BUT I'm not allowed to play cos I'm "horny"

I'll give a clue :hmz:

The answer is on page 253 of Prime Origins Guide to exploring Kruger. Does that help anyone? :whistle:

I am eligible as I am not "horny". Love this idea.

While Red Rocks are sorting themselves out can I ask what the Orpen Rocks are all about? I don't know but someone will be clever methinks?

I think Orpen rocks are where the memorial plaque is placed in honour of Eileen Orpen who donated land to KNP way back when..... They are on the H1-2 just north of Olifantsdrinkgat

Now we are down to the question of what is a bone eating snot flower and Nurse Bev posted a pic...but not much else. She is now off forum due to technical problems...does any one else know more about this interesting marine species??

It's also known as a Zombie Worm....
When a whale dies it sinks to the bottom of the ocean where it provides a plethora of beasties with quite a banquet. Once the bones are stripped of flesh it’s time for the Zombie Worms to move in. They set roots into the bones cracking the outer casing to get at the fatty marrow beneath.

The Bone Eating Snot Flower reproduces constantly, the female keeping a harem of males inside her tubes so that her eggs can be constantly fertilized. The eggs are cast into the oceanic currents, hopefully to find another whale carcass.
