Thats it Nungu , the road to the right is the S29 Mlondozi loop towards the picnic site of the same name .

Stab in the dark...is this near Orpen Dam? Seems like it's the road just north of the dam, but I can't remember the road #.

It is where the H1-5 turns away from the Olifants river towards Letaba .
The gravel road leads to the Olifants backpack trail pick up point .
I wonder what the clearing was made for .

Correct. It is just above the Olifants River as the tar road turns towards Letaba.

Found it! :thumbs_up: The road is the H1-2. Left bottom is the Orpenklippe and at the right top is the Kruger Memorial tables? :hmz:
