And that winner was.....Adansonia

Well done to you, the floor is now yours.

I think Adansonia has gone to Punda Maria as seen on one of the other quizzes - someone else to take the lead?

Thanks ZZ

Since Adansonia is temporarily out of action I will take the lead.

Okay, here we go...

My species name refers to my preference of mountainous areas,
my leaves are dark green on the surface and grey to white at the base,
they are simple, leathery and 3-veined.
What am I?

Hi all,

I am back from Punda - had a wonderful time (much too short though!!!)

Could it be Englerophytum (Bequaertiodendron) magalismontanum - Stem-fruit ("Stamvrug" in Afrikaans)?

Hi Naturelover,

No it's fine - please leave your question on the forum - maybe I will get my chance to pose a question later on.

(By the way I also gave a answer in my previous post to your question- Englerophytum magalismontanum - stem-fruit).

Sorry Adansonia, I did not read your last post properly.
Nope, I am afraid your answer is incorrect.

If anyone wants any further hints just ask me and I will oblige.
