We were so lucky to visit the Kgalagadi at the end of March.
As we entered the Nossob river road we saw the mamma cheeta with her 3 kittens.
Gus and Margie Mills, informed us that this was the cheetas who normally stayed at MataMata .
Gus and his wife runned the Cheeta Project for 6 years and was in the process of collecting all the collars from the cheeta as they end their study in April.
There is a wonderfull article of their work in the Authumn issue of WILD , the WILD card magazine.
When I saw the 2 adult cheeta's at Nossob, I presume that maybe it is the Mother with Dad . Then when I saw with the 3 now adult kittens now on their own, I think it maybe the same group that split up.

It is such a privilege to be part of "Life in Kgalagadi" when you are at home! Thanks so much for Web-cams!!!

The cheetahs had a kill just outside the gate in the riverbed.

You could watched them from camp. :mrgreen:

(So I was told by someone who stayed at Nossop) :thumbs_up:
