Wow Ekoppen, what a fantastic sighting!!! It might be a cliche but lions are my absolute favourite animal. I am still waiting for a good cub sighting. A kill, I have seen as well as mating lions but not young cubs yet so I am :mrgreen: with envy that you got to see so many.

What a lovely video...I am :mrgreen: with envy but have to take a moment and say :clap: , awesome footage.
Was this taken at the Shibotwana watering hole? I wasn't sure as we normally go to KNP in the winter and it looks quite different with a bit more water in it

Thank you....It was taken about 3-5k west of S41 on S100. Don't have my detailed maps here so not sure if that's the water hole you're referring too?

Wow, I have just read some mites TR's and they have had fantastic sightings of cats on the S100. I am green with envy :mrgreen: Hopefully I will get to see some in September :pray:

Riaanf, you should go check out the Lion thread..... Jan van Wyk has some stunning photos of lions taken on the S100. It looks like there are definately cats there :dance: Hope we get to see some :D
