Wow Ekoppen, what a fantastic sighting!!! It might be a cliche but lions are my absolute favourite animal. I am still waiting for a good cub sighting. A kill, I have seen as well as mating lions but not young cubs yet so I am with envy that you got to see so many.

What a lovely video...I am with envy but have to take a moment and say , awesome footage.
Was this taken at the Shibotwana watering hole? I wasn't sure as we normally go to KNP in the winter and it looks quite different with a bit more water in it

Thank you....It was taken about 3-5k west of S41 on S100. Don't have my detailed maps here so not sure if that's the water hole you're referring too?

Wow, I have just read some mites TR's and they have had fantastic sightings of cats on the S100. I am green with envy Hopefully I will get to see some in September

Riaanf, you should go check out the Lion thread..... Jan van Wyk has some stunning photos of lions taken on the S100. It looks like there are definately cats there Hope we get to see some
