Pafuri followed by Nwanetsi.

I always like pulling into Tshokwane, for a piece of milktart, but it has to be Timbavati for me, with its guardian baobab tree, and the bushbuck, one of which was taken out by a leopard at lunch time in July 2006, in front of very nervous diners. Africa is not for sissies

I hate questions like this...
I can't choose! I love Nkhulu, Tshokwane, that new one on the way to Giriyondo, I love 'em all!

Not being able to make up my mind... O well, angels do it all the time.

For me it is Mudzanzeni. Travel either on the Satara-Orpen road & left turn directly south or from Satara south on the main tar road H1-3 & then right. Both ways are very scenic & various animal sitings. After breakfast (we call it a"Kruger Fry UP") travel south to the next waterhole. Seen a herd of Sable there 2 years ago. Then turn right onto the Talamati road back to Orpen.This is also a lovely drive. Then on to Giravana & back to Satara. Nkhulu & Mhlondozi has too many monkeys that steal your food if you are not watching.

Whichever one is quietest on the day!!

Muzandzeni comes close on a quiet day
Mlondozi for the view
And Pafuri...just because it's Pafuri.

Used to love Nwanetsi but now usually too full to even find a table

Nhlangulene, Musandzeni or pafuri .

It is to hard to choose a favorite .

Definitely one of the best views IMO

I will stick with Pafuri, its really tranquil, relaxing, beautiful trees, always clean and never busy.

For me all of them are nice but only a few are special!

But like I said all of them are nice and have a special memory for me.

Having just return from a 4 day trip to Kruger I was once again impressed by Tshokwane. It always maintains a high standard of service and is clean and well kept. We often stop for breakfast at this picnic spot and can deffinately recommend the food and service. Although it can get a bit busy at times there is plenty of space under those lovely big trees. The Timbavati picinic spot is also a pleasure to visit and has a more rustic appeal.

Nkhulu is my bestest favorite. I just love the mental and strategic battles with the monkeys over my picnic. Then Orpen dam for its quiet and super sightings I have had there.
Oh yes, the back seat of my Landie at any good sighting is a hot favorite too

For sentimental reasons- Nkhulu. It was my late fathers favourite place in Kruger and we spread his ashes there a few years ago.
Otherwise probably Mlondozi as we have had great sightings there,

This is a really tough question. Any spot in the Park is better than the office! I must say I really like Nwanetsi and recently discovered what a lovely spot Mlondozi is. Great view and excellent game viewing area.

Our favourite picnic spot is Pafuri especially when traveling from Punda Maria Camp for a breakfast. It has great scenery and atmosphere and the historical places of interest along the way just add to its charm. Babalala is also a favourite on the way traveling south and Nhlanguleni when we stay at Orpen Camp.

Definitely Nwanetsi and Makhadzi.

I could sit at the Nwanetsi look out for hour upon hour. I just love how quiet and basic Makhadzi is and I have always had good tsesebe sightings on the road towards it.
