Houmoed

Shucks, I wanted to be different and say something else.
But I got a picture with even the branch in the background...
... from Houmoed.

If its not Houmoed then it must be Munro. I've got pics taken at this waterhole as well, but no name with the pics and I can't remember where exactly. All I know its along the Auob river before Auchterlonie. My pic is very dusty with no grass.

Luckily I remembered my photo and it was at Houmoed in March 2011

I'm also guessing Houmoed, but not confident.

Seems to me you guys do know your waterholes very well (wait until i get the nossob and dune road pics )

Then I need to refresh my memory. Last visit was June 2010 so I'll sit out on this one, but luckily in 9 days time I'll drive over that dune just to make sure where Houmoed is.

Lovely shot by the way. Last time I nearly had this oppurtunity but decided to make a u-turn about 100- 200 m from Kij-Kij to be on time back at Kieliekrankie. Our neighbours drove past us I came back with lovely shots of leopard drinking. All we had was sleepy lion behind the bush.

O lovely, enjoy it. I need to wait another month - untill the weekend of December 15, 2011.
