Morning Lionspoon.

Honestly I don’t think these predators will go anywhere. The Kij Kij pride has been seen between Kij Kij waterhole and Rooiputs for the last 2 months and are almost seen every second morning. The lions at Samevloeiing is a mating couple and they have been seen on the walks and drives.

The three cheetahs has been around for a few weeks now where they are doing their hunting in the Nossob riverbed
.

Will go and have a chat with them :rtm:

Wonderful to see how easy the game is to track in Kgalagadi, KG. Always interesting to follow the action. Just sad that we are almost a 1000 km from your wonderful park, otherwise we'd be there much more often.

:hmz: I grant you that, KG; but I believe it's not government sponsored, so will have to start a saving account so that I can speedily access your beautiful park on demand. 8)

Now that you mention it, I would indeed be interested in finding out what the flight would cost.

Pity there is no charter service I know of, they could make a buck or two as I believe some people would make use of it.....what about making it a community project (supply your own pilot - with all due respect)

KG I'm at 2Rivieren on 22 October with a few 'Tsammaland' boxes for you. I'll leave a message for you at reception.

Cheers.

Just came back from a fruitful walk at Rooiputs

Although we had to leave Twee Rivieren at 05h00 (with 2 guests, the others at rooiputs) we saw the following.

Jackal
Springbok
Gemsbok
Wildebeest
3 x Cheetah
2 x Lions - on the walk, they were very inquisitive . and followed us as we crossed dune after dune.
1 x Leopard on our way back to Twee Rivieren.

So all in all we saw the three main cats in one 'drive / walk"

Hi KG, my wife and I were the two guests from TW and I have to say WHAT A STUNNING WALK. Though I have to admit the leopard on the way back was my highlight as in 6 trips over to SA this was my first sighting.
PS I hope th mentoring is going well, I see they are still with you gleaning information from you.
