Hi Mel,

Was just going to call Coooooeeeeee and I see you've posted the morning walk :D

Yes, I did taste your Vegemite at breakfast that morning. And yes, it's edible ..... :D No seriously it is similar to Marmite but not the same, not bad but Marmite is not my favourite, so I guess I'm not the right one to comment.

What a walk, what views, what excitement hearing the leopard calling and then having two rhino aware of your presence. Adrenaline stuff, for sure.

Glad you had such a nice meeting with MG and her family.

And hello to David :D

Bit of catching up to do - but now I'm back up to date. What a lovely morning walk you had - filled with excitement! :sniper: Great to hear about your experiences at Berg-en-Dal now. We just managed to get a booking there for next weekend. A quick in and out for the weekend. Another one of my favourite camps!

Edit: So my parents will also be in KNP next weekend (first time for them in something like 7 years!), and they will be staying in Skukuza. Yesterday morning a spot opened up in Skuks so now we'll be joining them there. Nice to share this experience with them!

BUT still interested to hear all abou Berg-en-Dal! :D

A Morning Walk is such a wonderful experience...we did one at Satara last year and will continue to do them during our next visits. 8)

I know the feeling, not really being afraid but just that little bit of electrical tension you can feel....and the excitement of what you could see and encounter 8) .....just fantastic....glad you have enjoyed it. :D

Sounds like a great walk Mel.

BTW you have made my SO very jealous with your Vegemite in a tube. He's now trawling the internet to see if we can get it here.
